Congratulations on your home! I think with this new phase in life you'll find that you naturally start coming back into yourself - new friends, new routines, a new environment and a new sense of purpose. Life has its seasons, and sometimes we can sit in really isolating, closed off seasons for a while, but eventually the tide comes back in, Spring blossoms again. Enjoy this new season!
You’ve got a new HQ! Home base, physically and internally, is such a special and important place. I bet you’re right, Charlotte… a little extra layer of safety helps soften the risk.
PS, I 🧡 ‘to find my spark again I need to look outside myself.’
We’re still creatures of routine and safety, even after all these years of evolution. Changing, risking, doing uncomfortable things, it’s all hard, right?!
Sharing your intentions here is so helpful, Charlotte, and could be to so many. We’ve all got our comfort zones that get a little tooooo comfy over time. 😆
Also, cin cin on your new home!! We finally found the home & hood we’d been looking for just 3 years ago and it’s been literally life changing. I hope your neighbors prove to be of the classically neighborly sort… it can be pretty magical.
Routine and safety are wonderful things too, but not when they're the only—or even the main—thing. Risk and change are scary but also necessary, I think!
And thank you. I hope so too. It'll be nice to put down roots—and maybe that's what's making me feel like I'll be more able to step out of my comfort zone, too.
